A short time after 8:00 PM this evening, a jeep with three men reportedly pulled up near a young girl walking near a Shul in Lakewood, with one of the men allegedly getting out of the car and chasing the girl.
The girl managed to run away, and the men, described as black, driving a black Jeep.
Police were called and are investigating.
if a stranger comes near you scream and run.
don’t go outside by yourself .
never answer the door unless you parents tell you to.
if a car pulls up next to you run.
if they tell you not to tell your parents tell your parents .
Its important not to traumatize your children by scaring them but on the other hand you have to constantly remined them how to act safely and go over the rules with them also there many books that they sell in our locale book stores that teach children the rules in a heathy way.
may Hashem watch over our children
Please teach your children if they ever have to run away from a car, run opposite the way the car is facing. That way they’ll have a head start, as the driver would have to turn the car around which takes more time and attracts more attention.
Why is the specific area not mentioned???
Most children are abused by those in the family. Why aren’t schools teaching students about these things? You can expect an abuser to teacher their child that what is being done is wrong…
