With this week being the first early Shabbos of the season, we’re reminding you to give yourself extra time if traveling on Erev Shabbos.
In past years, there have been many incidents in which travelers encountered unexpected traffic, and needed to stay in a random town for Shabbos – sometimes even missing a Simcha.

For the record:
When Shabbos is late one also must give himself extra time for traveling on Erez Shabbos ????
It’s not Shabbosim (לשון זכר). It’s Shabbosos. (לשון נקבה). Similarly, it’s not זכותים. It’s זכויות.
On longer Friday’s During the Summer: Late June through Labor Day is the heaviest, worst and most unpredictable Traffic going North, South, East, West everywhere. Traffic on these short Fridays should be quite thin (even Thanksgiving weekend is less traffic than a summer Friday), But these Fridays are very short, Shabbos is here before you know it.
I thought it was Shabatot’s. Anyway, have a wonderful Shabbat.
