Oish, this is so sad, on so many levels. I live a few blocks away. Almost the entire neighborhood relies on this store for their grocery needs. For us this is a major inconvenience.
But its only an inconvenience.
For the owners and the employees, this can be devastating. Loss of inventory, loss of income while they rebuild, and huge expense of rebuilding.
HaMakom Yimalei Chasronchem. Thats all I can say.
Owners of this store real mentchen. Always a pleasure to deal with. Hashem should give them much hatzlacha in future endeavers.
I feel terrible to hear about this. Picnic has been my main grocery store even though there are others closer, because the management and employees are always such mentchen, kind and helpful. We’ll be davening for them.
Oy yoy yoy!!! Poor store owners etc!!! Yemalei Hashem Chesronam!!!!!
Fell so so so so bad b”h no got hurt past on the bus
So upset! My favorite grocery because the staff is always so nice and helpful.
I hope the owner(s) have enough insurance, not just fire coverage, but coverage that will carry their expenses (rent, mortgage, outstanding supplier invoices) so that the business can survive through the rebuilding process.
This is so terrible! Picnic always has whatever we need, and they are so nice and pleasant to everyone. I hope they are able to rebuild very soon so we can all come shop there again. Similar to above comments, the owner and management are outstanding!!!
I moved to Jackson and still continued using Picnic. Their customer service was amazing beyond! I honestly am at a loss now 🙁
What’s sad about the fire is the frum employees who have to find new jobs they have to feed there family’s
