As Lakewood and surrounding communities continue to grow by leaps and bounds, Hatzolah of Central Jersey is always looking to establish new locations to serve the community at a better and quicker rate.

This evening, a motion by the Board of Fire Commissioners was approved to allow for Hatzolah to utilize the Fire Commissioner headquarters located near the fire house at James Street and Route 9.

“A central location such as this is extremely beneficial and crucial to serving the ever-growing community,” the Hatzolah Administration told TLS.

Hatzolah says the building will be used as a garage, dispatching center, night watch center and more.

“When seconds count, we want to make sure we’re not wasting any of them,” the Administration said.
