EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Lakewood resident Eli Weinstein thanks President Trump, Ivanka Trump, and Activists after being released from Prison

Eli Weinstein this afternoon arrived at a family home in New Jersey after being released from prison – thanks to a commutation by President Trump.

During the private and emotional reunion, Eli thanked all for their support, and thanked those who helped him get through the eight-year ordeal and reuniting him with his wife and seven children.

In an exclusive message to TheLakewoodScoop.com, Weinstein thanked President Trump for signing his release, and thanked Ivanka Trump for taking an interest in his case and for calling his wife today, wishing her well.

Weinstein also thanked his victims who wrote letters of support on his behalf, helping to secure his release.

“I want to thank you for the letters, and for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to have a second chance,” Eli said. “My goal is to make everybody proud of me, and to lead my life in a proper fashion.”

Finally, he thanked the Askonim and activists who advocated on his behalf, bringing the case to the President’s desk, and ultimately having the lengthy sentence commuted.
