BDE
A true mensch and will b missed.
He was the person who along with his father built the Montreal Jewish community from scratch, there was no Mikvah, no Chevra Kadish, no Jewish old age home, and no Askanim to take care of the communities needs.
He built the Mikvah, Chevra Kadisha and bought the cemetery, Gemach, Old Age Home, and was the Askan who everyone went if they needed anything from a government official.
He was close to all Canadian prime ministers and was able to assist hundreds or thousands of Jews.
Besides his tremendous work after and during the war, he brought in the red cross and personally went down to the camps to tell Jews that they will be taken care of, he build Yeshivas in the DP camps.
is it possible to get play back of the levaya?
