Bike 4 Shalom 2018 Happening Next Week; Pick up your free mountain bike or road bike today!

While this has been a very cold and wet spring, Bike4Shalom, a 25 mile bicycle ride from Lakewood to the Shalom Torah Campus in Morganville taking place a week from Sunday on May 6th, is beginning to heat up.Bike4Shalom was created last year as an opportunity for fathers and sons to enjoy a meaningful bicycle ride and at the same time raise much needed funds for Shalom Torah Academy, a Jewish Day School educating this year over 160 students, that caters to families from Central New Jersey, Staten Island, and yes – Lakewood, many of who might not otherwise send their children to a Jewish Day School, but to Public School instead.

Yet, Shalom Torah Academy is but one facet of Shalom Torah Centers which has been providing Jewish Outreach services to the Central Jersey Jewish Community for more than 40 years. Shalom Torah has a Shul in Twin Rivers, an Outreach Center, and the only two Mikvaos in Central Jersey – in Twin Rivers and in Morganville. It has led to the creation of several Outreach centers and Shuls and has been the central address for Torah Yiddishkeit in the region.

There are 4 levels of riders and the top three all come with FREE top of the line bicycles!

Sponsorships can either be paid for by the riders or raised from their friends and family. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Now is the time to say Shalom and support this very worthy institution, get some great exercise and enjoy a major barbecue at the finish line at the Shalom Torah Campus together with your families.

So don’t wait until the day before. Sign up now so you can pick up your bike and start practicing for the race a week from Sunday on May 6. Please go to www.Bike4Shalom.com or call Josh Pruzansky at the school at 732-536-0911.
