R’ Captain Rephael is a wonderful person! I remember learning with him years ago. He is a talmid chacham and a big mentsch too! He is doing amazing work. Btw, I am guessing that those neighborhoods they were driving through are pretty rough places. You think Lakewood is dangerous??!!!
I considered becoming a chaplain myself years ago. Kol Hakavod.

We miss him in Texas where he loved all.
To #4 Actually a non Jewish chaplain took the pictures and video for himself. I asked him for a copy after Yomtov.
A tear came to my eye watching the seder that he was conducting. Thank you Captain for your service and for all your time in country.
For some of those people it might have been their first seder, but they are fighting risking their lives that we can all have our seder and practice freely our customs.
