Burglar Breaks Through Ceiling, Steals Jug of Coins from Lakewood Business

csi 2A burglar broke into a Lakewood business over night through a ceiling, Detective Lieutenant Steve Allaire tells TLS.

Some time during the night, the burglar entered an Oberlin Avenue building through an unlocked door, and then climbed above the ceiling and kicked through the sheetrock to get into the office, Allaire says.

The burglar made off with a water jug full of coins.

The same building – but different business – was burglarized last month, Allaire says. In that incident, the masked burglar shattered a glass only to meet employees inside. It’s unknown if the incidents are connected.

CSI was summoned to investigate.
