nj licenseNew Jersey residents and lawmakers are debating a plan that could allow all state residents access to a driver’s license, regardless of citizenship status, according to a report on News 12.

Advocates, immigrants and elected officials gathered outside the State House in Trenton Monday to encourage the approval of the legislation.

  1. Big benefits for insurance industry, not to mention law enforcement able to track people. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I really feel it’s about money and few other things and not helping people on a civil level.

  2. This is a BAD idea….. Why do we reward criminals? If I rob a bank I go to jail, they don’t call it an undocumented withdrawal!
Our next step will be allowing them to vote, then electing them to public office….. what are we doing here?
