Two people were killed and multiple others injured in a multi-vehicle accident on the Garden State Parkway this evening, TLS has learned.
It happened on the Garden State Parkway in Clifton, New Jersey, shortly before 9:00 PM.
According to sources, approximately 7-9 vehicles are involved, including one overturned vehicle.
“This fatal accident happened right in front of me,” a motorist told TLS. “The verturned car crossed over from south to north.”
The two killed were reportedly in separate vehicles.
At least two other injuries are said to be serious.
I passed by the accident going the other way.
One car was overturned in a ditch.
The traffic was so bad, that I saw the state police let cars make u turns going from north to south!!!!
Sorry to hear that two people lost their lives, and I hope that the wounded get better quickly.
