Submitted by Dr. Chana Frumet Yaroslawitz PhD LCSW: To the beautiful families in our community and beyond,
I am happy to make the 2020 Pesach Activity Guidebook Available to the public.
The guidebook includes easy to follow games and activities to help all ages facilitate coping skills and process the changes that are taking place before our eyes. It also gives parenting tips on limit setting, showing affection, and hundreds of ideas of fun games and activities you can do at home with minimal to no supplies. There is a special section for grandparents and much more. Many of the games can be played on Shabbos and Yom Tov.
I am asking a favor from all of our readers on the Scoop. I have a soft spot for the thousands of families in Lakewood who do not have access to email or online resources. They, just like all of us still need to deal with this new reality. This PDF guidebook can be printed out here. If everyone who is able to would print out one-three copies and thinks of a family or two that they can figure out a way to get a copy to while keeping all social distancing in place that would be a great Chessed. Of course, you can forward to those with email as well.
If anyone is interested (owners of grocery stores or anyone in the Klal) in the next day or so in helping out on a bigger scale to try to get copies to local families via grocery stores etc. pls email [email protected]
My hope is that the guide provides some activities to help with coping and some activities to bring you joy over Yom Tov.
Wishing all of Klal Yisroel a Chag Kosher V’sameach
CFY
Thank you for making this available for us!
