With the extreme seriousness of the current situation, many are wondering how the yearly Mechiras Chometz will be done. Getting together with the Rov will not be an option. Filling out the shtar and getting the information to the Rov will have to be done differently this year.

For the past 12 years, Rabbi Moshe Flohr has been arranging Mechiras Chometz for hundreds of people in his neighborhood and surrounding areas. He has gone through the halachos thoroughly and consulted with prominent poskim and has authored a sefer in English on the topic. The sefer is extremely clear and comprehnsive and has now been printed four times. The sefer is not meant for the Rabbonim (although many make use of it) but rather primarily for people to understand the proper way to fill out the shtar and the many sha’alos that come up.
