A video tribute to Siyum participants is playing in Metlife Stadium as attendees stream in by the thousands. A high level of security can be seen inside and outside the stadium.

UPDATE: [1:13 PM] A video is being shown on the scoreboard of the numerous daf yomi shiurim that are given throughout the world, as the event gets underway.

UPDATE: [1:38 PM] Mincha, led by Louis Scheiner, just ended. Executive Vice President of Agudas Yisroel Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zwiebel, is now speaking.

UPDATE: [1:41 PM] The Rosh Hayeshiva of Yeshiva of Brooklyn, Rabbi Shlomo Mandel, is now leading the crowd in reciting a kapittel Tehillim.

UPDATE: [1:57 PM] Governor Phil Murphy has just been introduced to the crowd.

UPDATE: [2:02 PM] The Novominsker Rebbe and Rosh Agudas Yisroel, Rav Yaakov Perlow, is now speaking. “What is the secret of Netzach Yisroel? It is the Torah. It is that we studied it and continue to study it… It is our ultimate protection.”

UPDATE: [2:12 PM] A “Heroes Of The Daf” video presentation is now being shown on the stadium scoreboards and screens.

UPDATE [2:18 PM] Rav Yissocher Frand, Rosh Yeshiva of Ner Yisroel, is now giving a rousing speech to the tens of thousands of attendees. He attested that numerous women say that their husbands are “changed men” after undertaking to learn Daf Yomi each day. He went on to praise the women who encourage their husbands to learn the daf even when at times when it is difficult. “For those of you who haven’t finished Shas, look at the people around you; be inspired,” said Rav Frand. “Say, ‘if they can do it, why can’t I?” He told over a story of a man who attended the last Siyum Hashas, who said that he wasn’t inspired by the Siyum itself, but rather the “regular” people who were being mesayem. To those who don’t believe they can finish it, Rav Frand said that half of Shas is better than none, half a mesechta is better than no mesechta, and half a daf is better than no doubt. “Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good!” he thundered.

UPDATE: [2:42 PM] Another video congratulating the mesaymim is being shown on the screens.

UPDATE: [2:44] Rav Nosson Sherman is now leading the siyum for the bochurim who are being mesayem Shisha Sidrei Mishnah.

UPDATE: [2:50 PM] Rav Chaim Benoliel is now being mesayem Shisha Sidrei Mishna for all the bochurim who are being mesayem with him.

UPDATE: [2:55 PM] The assembled crowd is joining Rav Abish Brodt, Baruch Levine, Shloime Daskal, and a choir in singing Vezakeini L’gadel as the siyum on shisha sidrei mishna concludes.

UPDATE: [3:07 PM] A video presentation highlighting the Chavrei Hadaf  program is now being shown.

UPDATE: [3:10 PM] Rav Aharon Schiff, Chief Rabbi of Antwerp, is now speaking to the crowd.

UPDATE: [3:19 PM] Governor Murphy tells TLS that he found the gathering awe-inspiring and humbling. He said New Jersey is thrilled to host this event and saluted everyone who finished Shas. Murphy said the fear in the Jewish community is understandable due to recent anti-Semitic incidents, and that he is committed to keeping Jews safe and secure. “When you attack one of our communities of faith, you attack all of us,” Murphy said. “And I want to make sure that everybody knows that we have got the backs of the Jewish community.”

UPDATE: [3:26 PM] Harav Chaim Kanievsky is now delivering a video message to the attendees of the Siyum Hasham.

UPDATE: [3:30 PM] Rav Reuven Feinstein is now reading a letter from Rav Chaim Kanievsky to the massive assembled crowd.

UPDATE: [3:34 PM] Rabbi Shlomo Farhi gave a special mazal tov to all the mesaymim and especially to Rabbi Mendy Rosenberg, who suffers from ALS, and still managed to finished Shas using a specialized machine which tracks his eye movements.

UPDATE: [3:38 PM] A video tribute to Rabbi Meir Zlotowitz, founder of Artscroll, is now being shown.

UPDATE: [3:44 PM] Harav Shmuel Kamenetzky is now addressing the crowd prior to leading the siyum.

UPDATE: [3:59 PM] Hundreds of thousands singing and dancing across the globe as they joyously celebrate the 13th Global Siyum Hashas.

UPDATE: [4:17 PM] After about 15 minutes of lively singing and dancing, a video presentation on The Impact of the Daf is being shown.

UPDATE: [4:39 PM] Rav Uren Reich, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva of Woodlake Village, is now speaking to the crowd.

UPDATE: [4:57 PM] A video commemorating the six million kedoshim of the Holocaust is being shown.

UPDATE: [5:04 PM] Shloime Gertner, Shloime Daskal, Baruch Levine, and a children’s choir singing a moving rendition of Ani Maamin following the video presentation on the Holocaust and its significance toward the Siyum Hashas.

UPDATE: [5:11 PM] Chazzan Yitzchak Meir Helfgot is now reciting a heart-wrenching Kel Malei Rachamim in remembrance of the Kedoshei Europe.

UPDATE: [5:20 PM] The Novominsker Rebbe is now leading the assembled in Kabolas Ol Malchus Shamayim. The Sanz-Klausenberger Rebbe is leading Hashem Hu Ha’elokim.

UPDATE: [5:25 PM] Rav Lazer Ginsburg is now leading Maariv as the event winds to a close.

UPDATE: [5:47 PM] With the conclusion of Maariv, the 13th Global Siyum Hashas celebration has officially ended.

    One suggestion: the coffee situation wasn’t great, may have been better to have ready to cups of coffee and tea
