We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Mrs. Tamara Adams A”H, who was suddenly Niftar Erev Shabbos.Mrs. Adams A”H, wife of R’ Avrohom, suffered a heart attack at her Lakewood home, and was transported to JSUMC, where she was Niftar a short time later. She was 69.
Mrs. Adams A”H is written about extensively in the book “The Underground” for her efforts agains the Communist Government in Russia, risking her life at times.
Her Levaya will be taking place at 12AM Motzei Shabbos at the 7th Street Chapel, with Kevurah in Lakewood.
Shiva will take place at 687 North Lake Drive.

She was a very chashuve and special woman. Such a dignified, pleasant, nice person. May her neshamah have an aliyah.

I sat next to Tamara at a chasuna . I asked her how she had come to Judaism. Her answer was typical Tamara “You can read my story in the book The Underground.” The real McCoys go about doing their avodas hakodesh with no need to toot their own horn. I thank the Ribbono shel Olam that I was zoche to meet her and have her as a friend.
