This is a continuation of an ongoing series of Amazon Seller Performance Related information.

The goal of these articles is to try our best to avoid compliance issues and best deal with them when we do get into trouble.

2) This has been showing up in SP communication. “Please also note it is insufficient to list restricted products in “Inactive (Out of Stock)” status. All Restricted product listings must be “Closed” or deleted entirely in order to be considered compliant with Amazon policy. “– This so important! They won’t let you back in if you just have qty set to 0. If you want to completely close an item, you need to close and delete it from SC.

3) We are reviewing your account because of concerns about the authenticity of the items below. «We would like to work with you to resolve the concern and complete our review». Likely they just want better invoices when this happens.

4) Company “Hario” has been very very aggressively enforcing RO and has been using other aggressive tactics.

5) A lot of emphasis seems be placed lately on this line “You will also need to provide invoices that reflect the level of sales over the last month or so, to prove that you are selling authentic products.”

I think what unscrupulous sellers are doing is buying small amount of an ASIN from a good source, and the rest from a bad source and that is what they are looking for.

6) This is what has showed up in vendor Express applications.

“To complete our review, we need more information about the items. Please reply to this message and provide the following information:

— An invoice from the manufacturer (or your supplier) for

this product

— A utility bill for your business address from the last 3 months”

This is likely a direct response to the issue where Amazon gets merchandise from unauthorized “brand owners” and sells it on VE or VC

7) EU sellers. If you receive an inauthentic or RO, and you plan on deleting the listing, make sure its deleted from all .EU platforms and not just the one you received the complaint. (Do a manual review of on each platform for that keyword)

8) SP seems to be accepting invoices in the past 365 days now, up from 180 in recent policy violations. This makes it easier for people who buy one time large deals.
