SURVEILLANCE VIDEO: Suspects caught on video burglarizing Lakewood vehicles

image[VIDEO BELOW] Surveillance video captured several men burglarizing vehicles over Shabbos in Lakewood. 

The men were seen on video about 5:30 AM on Shabbos morning entering multiple vehicles – apparently left unlocked – and rummaging through them in search of valuables.

A GPS, iPod and other electronics and items were stolen.

Police are investigating.

  1. Nice job. We need to be rid of these criminals once and for all. I live on the block. I hope we catch them soon. And maybe theives will think twice if they know there’s cameras in town

  2. Apparently people leave their car doors unlocked and these thieves know that. They’ll case a neighborhood and try all car doors hoping they’ll find some open because they know people are careless.

  3. To all who thumbed down the idea of catching these guys and locking them up: I’m not suggesting that people shouldn’t lock their doors – of course they should. But that’s not the solution to this problem. That’s called blaming the victims. The solution is to punish the perps. This way they and their crony friends will think twice before doing it again.
