PHOTOS: U.S. Marshals Conduct Early-morning Sweep in Lakewood

Over a dozen U.S. Marshals and converged on the Highpoint Condominium complex early this morning, authorities confirm to TLS.

At approximately 5:30 AM, area resident woke to the sound of a helicopter hovering above the area, and looked outside to see heavily armed Marshals, along with K9 and other support units as they conducted raids on multiple homes.

Officials could not immediately provide further details, though it appears at least one person was taken into custody.
