TLS: Help Us Cheer up Young Girl Severely Injured in Boating Accident

rocky mountain hospAs reported earlier on TLS, a young girl from a local family was severely injured about two weeks ago in a boating accident while vacationing with her family.

Many have Davened for the recovery of 12 year-old Hadassah Tehillah Bas Michal, and no Tefillos have gone to waste.

Fortunately, doctors were able to save her life. But unfortunately, she was left with severe and permanent injuries, despite the multiple intense surgeries she underwent.

In an effort to cheer up the young girl, currently in the Rocky Mountain Children’s Hospital in Colorado, TLS is reaching out to you, our readers, for your help in accomplishing that goal.

Whether it’s a letter, a small toy, game, CD or anything else you think a 12 year-old girl would enjoy, it will definitely lift her spirits.

The items can be sent to her relative, who will deliver the items to Hadassah Tehillah.

Please send to:

  1. I’m not sure to smile or cry. Smile on one hand that once again us yidden can show the RSO that we really do care for another yid who is in need even if we may not know that person but it’s another yid and that’s all that matters. Or to cry to know that another family is going through such a difficult moment and of course this young girl to have to endure so much suffering. On a day like Erev Tisha b’Av it’s not hard to cry for someone’s tzoros. May this family know of only Besuros Tovos. …

  2. This is so sad. Over Shabbos I found out I know a member of the family and so do many of us. The injury she sustained is terrible. We should take a min and send , at least, an email. Ah gringen Taanis.

  3. I’d like to send a gift but don’t want to send something she can’t play with due to her injury but I don’t want to be nosy can someone who knows info comment on stuff she’s able to do??

May she have a Refua shilaiama Bikorov and may we all be blessed with the geula

  4. @refua shlaima- I was thinking the same thing. Without being nosy, I want to make sure that if I sent a gift, or game that it would be something she could use- and not gd forbid hurt them by sending something she wouldn’t be able to use.
So sorry. May there be only Nechama to this family and all of klal yisrael.
