PHOTO: In response to the recent Newtown, Connecticut, a Sergeant with the New Jersey State Police in conjunction with the Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch held a safety drill at Yeshivas Bais Pinchos High School.
The first safety drill of its kind in Lakewood following the Sandy Hook shooting, the safety drill provided much useful safety information for students, including lock down procedures and how to react to various school emergencies.
The meeting was directed by State Police Sergeant Bill Fearon, and attended by the entire Bais Pinchos school, as well as the LCSW Director Shrage Pinter and coordinators.
Great idea! And of course it’s easiest for shragy to do it in his school first. But I’m wondering if he can maybe arrange with all the schools here to have the same thing, or was this a one-time thing, only for Bais pinchos? I would be really happy if my school would have it!
why can’t every first responder in lakewood be giving the opportunity to attend these important classes.
thanks shargi
YOU CAN CALL LCSW TO SEE IF THEY CAN BRING THE TRAINING TO YOUR SCHOOL
it’s so impressive that the school did that training. I will ask my children’s school to do it in Brooklyn NY
THERE IS NO FUNDING AS OF YET FOR THESE THINGS I ASKED MY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL. HE TOLD ME TO WRITE TO OUR CONGRESS
Sgt Desimone of LPD who acts as the inteligince officer for lakewood is conducting this in all the private schools! Just takes time to organize!
If only these horrible tragedies can be avoided.
Mr. Pinter is a true askin. Thanx for all that you do for this town.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the very dedicated LCSW members for keeping our town safe.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the Ribono Shel Olam for keeping our town safe.
