  1. It was always laughable that the LPD blamed everything on unlocked windows. Really, is it that hard to break in?
Just shows how out of touch they are.

  2. Where is LCSW see many strange cars that dont belong in raintree I know because I live there. Never seen LCSW patrol raintree.Only LPD every now and then. What they do is drve around the area scope out a home for a week know what time you come and go and rob your home. What I do is change things around make my schedule different times of comming and going from my home. It is hard to do but,so far it works. Also talking with neighbors help.We watch one another.

  3. This is retarded! The azut metzach of these burglars know no bounds! Next they’ll be robbing homes in broad daylight while the owners are there!

  4. #7 you are obviosly misinformed, There are three LCSW members in the neighborhood and i know for a fact that they do patrol the area. Everyone has to help out and watch out for their neighbors. This is just crazy.

  5. Raintree is one of the most protected areas in Lakewood, after High Point and 4th Street. There’s no way a thief got past all the protection. Must have beed inside job.

  6. Yidden!

Locks? Patrols? Closed windows? Schedule Changing? Not even a mention of Hashem?

The Pasuk tells us ” Im Hashem Lo Yishmor Ir, Shav Shakat Shomer” This means that if Hashem removes His protection from a city, the Watchman watches in vain”

All the “protections” we do are futile if we don’t merit Hashem’s protection.

Perhaps it’s time to check our Mezuzos?

Perhaps it’s time to remove from our homes anything that chases away the Shechina, such as movies and secular magazines etc.?

Perhaps Hashem is sending us a larger message than “You guys need more LCSW patrols”

    Perhaps?

  7. To 9 I know LCSW has not been near.my area.of raintree because I have a neighbour who always looking outside watching calls me anytime a strange car is around.there are two sides of raintree what side do they patrol.

  8. Perhaps it’s time to remove from OURSELVES the way of thinking in life. We think the police are protecting us, Hashem is protecting us & the police are hashems messengers. Leave your houses & your life in the hands of Hashem & everytrhing will work out. i.e. FAITH & TRUST when a person truly believes that everything Hashem does is for the good, he receives from Hashem the greatest gift that is better then money. the gift of HAPPINESS cause nothing in the world effects a true person of Betuchin & emuna Such a person is always happy & never sad

May everyone receive this gift soon-WORK on your Betuchin & emuna by accepting everything that happens in life with happiness & make yourself a time for learning Chovos Halevavos & other mussar seforim HATZLACHA

  9. #14 I would fire your neighbor as a lookout, I have gone along with one of the members a few times and he covered every street in raintree with a flashing light on top of his car. So if your neighbor didn’t see that i wouldn’t rely on him for much really.

  10. If you see a suspicious vehicle or anything suspicious for that matter, why don’t you contact LCSW @732-367-1212, they will have a unit down there within minutes and have eyes on the area. Don’t sit around and wait for something to happen.

  11. To # 15, you couldn’t say it better…KOL HAKAVOD
You right, unfortunatly ,ppl. have no Emunah
but….it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t leave your doors and windows open…you have to do your HISHTADLUS

  12. #15 I’m sure those who have had they houses broken into will not feel the same. If your house gets broken into, would you feel the same? Would you feel that what is meant to be will be? I think not.
I had the not so pleasurable experience speaking with a “professional burgaler” who said it is the thrill, his high, to break in and get away with it. His only deterant would be the homeowner having a dog(s).

  13. to lawyer, most crimes of that nature are crimes of opportunity, if you are a lawyer you should know that. and also locked doors & windows will not stop a determined thief. locks only stop honest people from entry.

  14. to #20

Becoming a Baal Betuchen & Emuna (Faith & trust) is no simple matter. A person can’t just say, let me have faith in hashem, it is a long & Difficult journey. Becoming a person of Betuchen & Emuna in Hashem is an average of a 30 year journey minimum. (not from when your born, but from when the journey starts) Do you know what these 30 years are? The first 10 percent of the journey is learning every mussar sefer in the world, the other 90 percent of the journey is passing every single Nisayon (test) with Ahava (love) etc… , from accidents to robberies to deaths Chas V’Shalom etc… A true person of Faith knows the mishna in pirkei Avos that says the good & bad is all for the good every minute of the day , 24-7. Every Nisayon that a person gets from Hashem & passes, brings him closer & closer to Hashem & every test that a person experiences gets harder & harder, but a person can never ask Hashem why something bad is happening, because we all know that if a person was not able to pass a test then Hashem would never give it to him. Nothing in the world will effect a person of Bitachon, no matter what happens, cause he knows that everything Hashem does is for the good. Do you know what the reward for being a person of Faith & trust is? The reward is worth more then all the money in the world, the reward is that you get to be the happiest person in the world cause nothing in the world will effect you. Now can you tell me a better reward then that?
