TLS has learned that Materna baby formula from Israel is almost nowhere to be found in Lakewood stores the last couple of days due to a banned shipment from the FDA. According to the FDA, the articles of the latest shipment were found to be misbranded in that the label failed to bear the required nutrition information.
However, there is no indication that the product is unsafe, and also appears to only be this particular shipment.
There are reportedly still some Brooklyn stores with stock. TLS.
