[DONATION LINK] [PHOTO of R’ Malkiel visiting Pinchos Ben Sarah Esther in Hospital] To Acheinu Bnei Yisroel – Rachmonim B’nei Rachmonim: On Purim night, we reported the unfortunate news of a Meshulach who was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in Lakewood. The Meshulach in fact – Rabbi Pinchos Ben Sarah Esther Huminer – is a prominent individual from Eretz Yisroel, A Rebbi, Sofer and an extremely pious Talmid Chochom.
Although the Doctor did see slight improvement, Rabbi Pinchos Huminer, A Grandson of the famous Reb Shmuel Huminer of Eretz Yisroel, currently remains in an extremely critical state.
He is a father of 14 children Ba”h, 10 of whom are unmarried. No words can describe the pain and anguish of his poor family, who not only is suffering tremendously financially, but is now suffering from their most recent tragedy.
We plead with you to open your hearts, and take advantage of this opportunity to partake in this tremendous Mitzva, by assisting this Yid with the monetary assistance he so badly needs.

It’s a shtikel bechina of egla arufa, we have an achrayus as he was injured in our shtut.
I agree. We need to assume the achayus of helping those who get hurt in our town.

And if he was just a regular guy would something be different
The best one can do is SAY TEHILLEM!!!!
R’ Michoel is from the greatest Tzaddikim our town/city has. He is always there for the yuchid and the tzibbur alike. Kudos to R’ Moshe Perewtz and R’ shragi for joining R’ Michoel in this great Mitzvah. I have yet to see R’ Michoel say no to ANYONE in need of financial help, Tzedokos and Mosdos Hachesed and the downtrodden in general. He has saved countless marriages and families facing disasters of insurmountable proportions in general!!!!!! I admire you R’ Michoel and will always try to follow in your footsteps with my tiny baby shoes.
Yasher Koach R’ Michoel V’siyatoi!!!

A young mother of fourteen children sends her husband to America to collect and raise funds for their financially struggling family. Now she finds out that her husband is in critical condition in a hospital in Lakewood. She has no idea if he will ever return.
She cannot even go to America to visit him. She needs to take care of her ten unmarried children at home.
Imagine the pain and worry of this young woman. Imagine her thoughts when she falls asleep exhausetd at night……. Worrying about her husband in a far away land, worrying about her future, worrying for her kids……….. and of course worrying about how she will make ends meet.
The LEAST we can do is let her know that Lakewood is taking care of her husband, and that we will help her financially with her struggles.
Please donate as much as you can.
Do it for the wife.
is he from Ramot? I had a Rebbi in chedar by that name
Done . I wish I could give more than $18, but better than nothing. Refuah Shelaimah!

Yes, if someone is a Talmud Chochom then everyone is required to feel his pain on a more personal level, as the Gemara says when a Talmud Chohom is in pain a person is required “to make himself sick”.

VERY WELL SAID!!!
We are lakewood. An ir HaTorah that is machshiv Torah. We have an extra obligation to over extend our efforts to a Talmud chuchem.
I think that fact alone, that he has 10 unmarried children, yet had to be away from them on Purim to collect funds, tells u how bad the matzav was. Now that he’s so hurt, that already bad matzav gets that much worse. Nebech. If you can, give, give & give again, give till it hurts.
I clicked to give but they don’t accept Paypal. Please add that option. Thank you.
Everyone is requested to give. I already sent $500.
Most people think of things to do to help reb michoel just DOES IT. A real special person.
Is he going in for surgery? If so for what? I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery, as well as his family
Refuah shelaimah! We should all be opening our hearts & pockets to this family! In addition, aizeh hu chachom? Haroeh es hanolad! In the future, when giving an ishur to a meshulach, perhaps the vaad can also give the prospective collector a reflector and a warning about dressing in black from head to toe and crossing the dark street….I myself have almost hit men- this is avery serious issue!
