Close To $300,000 Raised At Rubashkin Event

Sources tell TLS that close to $300,000 dollars was raised at last night’s historic gathering. “Those $18 and $36 dollar checks all add up”, one of the organizers of the event tells us. “It’s a number which exceeded our expectations” he says, “but funds are still desperately needed”. it wasnt just $18 and $36 checks that were written last night – there were many in the hundreds and many in the many hundreds. One can only imagine what a nachas ruach this brings to H-shem when He sees such display of achdus and the gevaldiga ‘mitfeelen yeners tzar’. We should have besuros tovos.
