Fire At Yeshivah Keter Torah, Arson Suspected

keter torah_wmUPDATED: Fire Marshals are currently on the scene of Yeshivas Keter Torah where a fire broke out close to the end of Shabbos. The Fire Department quickly put out the flames which came from the Bais Medrash. The building was vacant at the time and nobody was injured. TLS is awaiting word on the damage to the building. It is unknown at this time what the cause of the fire was TLS-59 U/D 10:06 p.m. TLS just spoke with the Menahel, Reb Tzvi Zev Shwartz Shlita who said the fire was declared to be Arson. Detectives and CIU are currently investigating the crime.

  1. Thanks to the Lakewood Fire Dept for the quick response day or night. We should all thank them every time we see them.

    One day i was talking to a member of the Lakewood FD and he said they need more members as a lot of members are getting old and retiring and they don’t have many new members because the population of the town is all Jews and Mexicans who don’t relay join. we should urge anyone who is interested to join. I wrote a letter stating i would like to join Last weak and i got a call i am going for a interview this week and would like to become a volunteer bezras hasem so i can help out my town.
