Charlie Brieger, (Director Of Operations for Dealmed) has been in close contact with Scott Carter over the last few months, offering assistance and supplies. The following is the text of the letter from the CEO of Dealmed: ATT: Scott Carter, RE: Lakewood Township EMS Transition. Just over a year ago, our company chose to relocate our main distribution center to Lakewood. We chose Lakewood because of the support and guidance we received from the Lakewood Township and the Lakewood development corporation.
As a medical supply company, our values instill compassion and a sense of giving back to our community. Our company slogan reads “understanding healthcare”. Understanding healthcare is more then delivering lifesaving products; it is about giving back to the community.
Lakewood Township EMS has serviced residents and businesses for 30 years. As a part of the Lakewood community, we must take whatever steps necessary to keep Lakewood Township EMS open.
In the spirit of giving back to the community, we want to do our part to keep Lakewood Township EMS in operation. Therefore, we are offering to donate one year worth of medical supplies, should the township committee elect to keep Lakewood Township EMS open.
Lakewood Township EMS has survived many previous recessions. I believe collectively we can overcome these financial challenges, and we are here to help.
