PD Enforcing The Law On River Avenue

VIDEO taken this morning showing PD in action, enforcing cell phone and seat belt laws. We have received numerous reports about the apparent unusual Police activity on Route 9 and River Avenue. However, contrary to those reports, Police Chief Rob Lawson has confirmed to TLS that there is no extraordinary activity or blitz currently taking place and has not appointed Officers to any additional enforcement.

  1. They picked a great location to stop cars. After they pull you over, hop over to ssss right there to pick up the best tasting burger in town. Just a fan!

  2. I don’t know…. I saw 3 people pulled over within 3 blocks of Rt. 9- River ave. today (besides the guy on the video). Looks like they are out in full force!

  3. What does “apparent unusual Police activity ” mean?!? Isn’t that their job?? If only we’d all get of our cell phones and just watch the cars in front of us we wouldn’t have so many accidents!! Hey,try it for a DAY! The only thing I do not like is when a specific officer makes it his job to ONLY give tickets and practically doesn’t do anything else.

  6. Glad they got those dangerous people not wearing seatbelts as oppsed to pulling over all the unlicensed uninsured illegals driving around with their old celicas and rims that cost more than my house.
