Lakewood Mayor Ray Coles responds to your ‘Ask The Mayor’ questions: Pine Park Paddle Ball Courts

The following is an ‘Ask The Mayor’ question submitted to TLS, and the Mayor’s response. Email your questions for the Mayor to [email protected].

Question:

Mayor Coles,

I saw your Honor’s response to the below linked “Ask the Mayor” question.

Please note that the paddle ball courts in Pine Park are very well used but quickly deteriorating. Both, the walls and the floors are not even and would need to be refurbished.

As you know, the courts are very well used, especially on Friday and Sunday during the whole year.

On behalf of the Pine Park paddleball players, could your Honor consider refurbishing the courts?

Sincerely,

Jeffrey

Response from Mayor Coles:

Good afternoon

I will ask Public Works/Parks to look into refinishing the courts.

Thanks for letting me know.

Ray

  1. if only we would take care of the pressing issues like giving us back our right turning lane from clifton to MLK rather then filling up the lake with docks, i think we would be all happier
