Dr. Isaac Glatstein, a renowned fertility specialist who recently opened a new state-of-the-art Fertility practice in Wall Township was invited to give a lecture to the Ob/Gyn Department at Monmouth Medical Center on the topic of “Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and more- what’s new in the IVF Laboratory”.
The lecture was attended by members of the Ob/Gyn Department including residents in training, Attending Physicians on staff, and the Chair and Vice Chair of the Department, Drs. Robert Graebe and Bob Massaro.
In the lecture, Dr. Glatstein explained the current status of the fertility practice and how technology, including Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Microfluidics is rapidly changing the field at a breakneck pace. He gave specific examples of these cutting-edge technologies that are currently being employed at Conceive NJ to provide more accurate and timely results and deliver a better patient experience. “In addition, there are several exciting new developments in the pipeline that will be game changers. Automation has the potential to eliminate a lot of the manual processes that are currently being done and allow for more objectivity and efficiency.
The lecture was well-received by the those in attendance including many physicians in training as well as seasoned members of the medical staff.

About Dr. Glatstein
Isaac Glatstein, MD, MSc is a Harvard-trained, Award Winning, Board-Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist who specializes in Infertility, Assisted Reproduction, in vitro fertilization, recurrent pregnancy loss, Fertility Preservation, and minimally invasive uterine surgery. He graduated from the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and then completed his Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He was selected for his Fellowship Training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was also awarded a prestigious Fulbright Research Fellowship to continue his training and research under the direction of the legendary fertility expert Professor Neri Laufer.

His research was on the use of Artificial Intelligence in Embryo Selection to improve patient outcomes and pregnancy rates. He was also trained in Advanced Andrology techniques at the Cleveland Clinic at their world-renowned Andrology Center.
