Approximately eight cars were struck in Lakewood this morning by an out-of-control school bus.
The accident happened approximately 8:35 AM when the school bus driver reportedly suffered a medical episode, losing control of the bus.
One person was hospitalized, though it’s unclear at this time if it’s the bus driver or an additional patient.
There were no students on board at the time.
Luckily, there were no pedestrians struck during the morning school pick up time.
An investigation is underway.
