PHOTO: In honor of the Newtown School Shooting Victims, the flags at the Public Schools around Lakewood this morning were lowered to half-mast.The tragedy, being mourned by the entire nation, has prompted President Obama on Friday to order flags to fly at half-mast in honor of the innocent lives taken.
During the opening of the morning classes at the schools today, teachers in Lakewood will hold a moment of silence, Ms. Laura Winters said. TLS.
OK I guess I will have to be the first to comment on this horific tragedy, so many other issues of much less importance seem to raise the ire of many who visit this site, we have witnessed one of the worst school tragedies and it has become all to common .Everyone thinkls they have a solution ,lots of finger pointing, sugestions of how to resolve the acts of violence,But in the end very little is ever done that is really helpful ,may that not be the case this time and hopefully instead of all the words with no resolution not be the final say on how this tragedy in the end have changed the way we find a path that will indead make a differance to prevent this from ever happening again
